Because of his mechanical skills, he was able to repair the vehicle, which he acquired for $4,800. In the Real Ghostbusters animated series, the Ecto-1 was modified with the Di-Variable Universal, the Ecto-Scope, Psycho-dampers, and a hydraulic bumper.
